 ANOTHER HOUSE IN SUN RIVER

This house had been sitting empty for a long time, as the woman who had lived there had died some time ago.  It still had a lot of her antique furnishings in it--which included antique doors dating back to the Civil War era. (She was a collector)

One of the reasons we liked it was because it had a full basement!  A rare thing in Sun River!

But probably the biggest draw was the VIEW!  Right ON the Golf Course.

We had lived in the house just before this one for only 2 MONTHS--so we were looking for something where we could stay awhile!  ESPECIALLY since we had now moved our grand piano down from Draper and had to pay about $250 every time we moved it!

Piano being prepared to be moved from Draper to the "2-month" house.

In the "2-month" house, getting ready to move once again.

My 2 boys worked their BUTTS off--from one move to the next!!

We actually were able to get a "2-year" lease and so signed up! This is the piano being put back together (again) at our new address.

The deck on the back of the house.

All of the antique doors were replaced with new ones, and the antique light fixtures were replaced with new fan lights.

The view from our bedroom window!

We got moved in just in time for Lamar to blow out candles on his 60th birthday! (Sept. 16, 2011)  ~~ We have now lived here for 8 months and don't have any regrets about choosing to live here.  We LOVE the view, the deck on the back of the house, and the walkout basement! We also love the Branch that we're in--the Sun River 2nd Branch.  They ROCK!  :)
